Patient Details:
This patient in her 20’s had undergone Rhinoplasty previously elsewhere but was not happy with the result. She complained that the nose did not look much different, and in fact, some asymmetry was caused by the original Rhinoplasty. Dr. Tong noted that she had fullness on the bridge of the nose, a bulbous tip that bent slightly to the patient’s right side, and some wideness of the bones. He performed open Rhinoplasty which he gave her a smooth dorsum (bridge) with a slight supratip break. The tip was refined and upturned slightly. The tip was also straightened back to the midline. Although the changes were subtle, the patient was quite pleased that the changes were exactly what she was seeking.
