Patient Details:

This patient in his 50’s complained about the way his ears looked, and thought that they ‘stuck out too much’. He additionally did not like the fact that he had very cold ears in the winter months. During his consultation, Dr. Tong noticed that his antihelical fold was flat, and that his conchal bowl has too deep. He proposed Otoplasty (Ear Pinning) Surgery to correct the appearance. The procedure was performed under IV sedation and local anesthetic. The photos show the results at one year after surgery. The ears are symmetric and look very natural. The scar, located in the back of the ear, is very difficult to see. The patient even reported that the symptoms of cold ears had completely disappeared. He was very pleased with the final outcome.
